6 Dog festivals you should attend in 2021


Dogstival is a fun packed day full of activities for you and your dog. There will be hundreds of other dogs and owners to meet whilst you watch world class dog displays. You can get involved in flyball, agility, scent training, hoopers ring or test your dog’s skills in the gundog village.

There will be behaviour experts to learn from, vet tips from ITV Dr. Scott Miller and there are rosettes up for grabs! If that isn’t enough, there will even be swimming pools for dog-diving and a giant pampering session!

All about dogs

All about dogs is an event organised by dog lovers for dog lovers. Dogtastic!

There are a total of five All About Dogs events taking place this year. The biggest one will take place at Blenheim Palace, with Arena displays, have-a-go Activities, fun dog shows, advice from experts and so much more. There is also a Village Green, which is where you’ll find the human food and drink, as well as live entertainment.

There will also be an opportunity to do some shopping at over 150 trade stands. The perfect day out for your pooch and the whole family!

There are five locations and dates for All About Dogs:

30th – 31st May – Hylands Park 
3rd – 4th July – Blenheim Palace
31st – 1st August – Newbury Showground
29th – 30th August – Norfolk Showground
4th – 5th September – Newark Showground

Dog Fest

Dog Fest is the ultimate day out, bringing you and your family together for a day out with your pooch. This is a two day festival in the open air with arena displays, expert advice, shopping, food and drinks. You can enjoy music and have-a-go activities for your dog.

Dog Fest are also hosting the Big Dog Walk, where you can walk either 2km or 4km and meet thousands of other people and their pooches, while exploring the beautiful grounds of Tatton Park with your pooch.

11th – 12th September – Knebworth House, Hertfordshire
18th – 19th September – Cirencester Park, Gloucestershire

Woof Stock Festival

Woof Stock Festival is an award-winning dog and family friendly festival. There will be dog shows, displays and demonstrations including agility, police dogs, obedience and more. You can take part in contests, such as the distraction alley race or take part in a spot of shopping at the stalls.

There will be live music all weekend including Riviera Dogs, I love Amp, Superstition, Tasha Leaper as Madonna and much more. Pack up your tent, camper or caravan and give Woof Stock Festival a try. Of course, don’t forget your pooches!

Discover Dogs

Discover dogs is the perfect opportunity to meet over 200 dog breeds. Ideal for people looking to buy a dog or dog lovers alike. There will be doggy shops and a range of activities, including world-class displays and competitions.

You can meet the young Kennel Club, which is the largest youth club for dog activities in the UK and children are welcome to take part in their activities. A great day out for the whole family.

PLUS: There is a cuddle corner – pawfect! If you need a minute to relax on the sofa surrounded by dogs and puppies this is the festival for you.

Paws in the park

Paws in the Park is a fun day out for you and your pooch. With several arena displays, have a go activities, competitions and amazing shopping opportunities, it makes for a fabulous day out.

This event is set in the heart of the countryside and there are indoor weather-proof activities too – just in case!

There are a variety of unique competitions to get your teeth stuck into at Paws in the Park, including Agility and Aquazone. There is also the opportunity to camp at Paws in the Park to make a weekend of it!

There are two locations and dates of Paws in the Park:

18th – 19th September – The Kent Showground
9th – 10th October – Ardingly, Sussex
